As a nutritionist, I learned pretty quickly that vanity is a powerful motivator for people to make healthy changes in their lives. Who doesn't want to reclaim their youthful glow and stall the appearance of wrinkles or grey hair? And I am certainly happy to help people achieve their beauty goals through simple changes in their diet and lifestyle. But I also know that our bodies tell us a lot about the state of our internal health through the quality of our skin, nails, and hair. Knowing what triggers our beauty concerns and addressing the underlying causes will take us a long way in our quest for health. It's true: beauty equals health. But you have more concerns in your quest for healthy good looks than simply what you do for the inside. Many products we use on our bodies contain harmful chemicals that have proven links to illness and disease, including cancer. And who looks good when they're sick? Fortunately, we have options for our beauty products that will give us the results we want without risking our health. You'll learn more about these topics when you review some of the articles on this site. Sign up to receive the free monthly Living Beauty newsletter, containing tips on creating health and beauty in your life, information about safe and effective ingredients in beauty products, recipes, upcoming events, news, special offers, and much more. Be sure to visit some of the sites linked to Living Beauty, too. They are included because I consider them important partners in your pursuit of health and beauty Please contact me with your questions and comments. I always enjoy hearing from you!
